Smile Reset
Minor flaws in your smile and damaged teeth can hold you back from enjoying life to the fullest. Not only can these oral health issues affect the look of your smile, but they can also make it less functional. Thankfully, we have three powerful treatment options to choose from: dental bonding, veneers, and crowns. Used separately or in combination, these three treatments can give you a winning smile.
Dental Bonding
For a minor change, bonding can be performed by applying a composite resin over a tooth. Dental bonding is great for minor gaps, small cracks, and discoloration that doesn’t respond to whitening. We can usually complete dental bonding in one visit since it requires minimal tooth preparation. So, you’ll see results quickly.
Veneers
Veneers are thin, porcelain shells molded to fit over the front surfaces of your teeth. With veneers, we can address mild to moderate issues such as misshapen teeth, cracks, gaps, and discoloration. Veneers can correct more pronounced issues than bonding, but because we have to prepare your teeth for them and each veneer is custom made, the process requires at least two visits.
Crowns
A crown is made to cover the entire visible portion of a tooth. We typically reserve crowns for more serious cases of damage and decay. With a crown, we can restore strength and stability to a damaged or weak tooth or reshape a tooth that is smaller than it should be. Each crown is custom made, so it does require more than one visit to complete.
