Meet a Valued Team Member – Samantha
March is a special month because we take the time to celebrate a very special, key group of team members in our office — our Dental Assistants. While the official celebration of Dental Assistants Recognition Week is during the first week of the month, we feel it is important to recognize our team all the time. We wanted to take some time this month to help you learn a little more about one of our dedicated dental assistants, Samantha.
Samantha is a newer member to our team having joined our practice in August of 2021. She decided to pursue a career as a dental assistant in hopes of helping patients feel more comfortable and less anxious about visiting the dentist. Samantha actually felt nervous about going to the dentist when she was younger, and it inspired her to join the field of dentistry as a way to help others overcome their fears. She enjoys making a positive difference in a patient’s office and treatment experience. She hopes to make each visit easier and more relaxed.
Samantha wants patients to know that nobody is judged when they visit the office. Many patients worry about the appearance of their teeth or how long it has been since they visited the office. Samantha and the entire team at Today’s Dental Comfort want to help patients fix and restore their smiles. Everyone in the office loves getting to know the patients on a deeper level and want to help them feel more comfortable in their oral health journey.
When she’s not in the office, you might find Samantha crafting. In fact, she recently started her own side business selling her crafts and metal sign creations. She also loves laughing and being around people with a laugh so big it can touch the soul. One day, Samantha would love to travel to Ireland.
