Your Dentist Has Been Busy Learning Something New!
Continuing education keeps us learning, growing, and bringing more knowledge back to our patients and there is always something new to learn in dentistry, and around here, we think that is pretty exciting. Dr. Parker recently completed additional training focused on dental implants, and we could not be happier to have him continue building his knowledge and skills in an area of dentistry that can make such a meaningful difference for our patients.
Why Continuing Education Matters to Us
Of course, if you know Dr. Parker, you already know that learning does not stop just because dental school is finished. Dentistry keeps moving forward, and we want to keep moving forward with it. Technology changes and techniques evolve. Research gives us new information, and treatments continue to be refined as dentists learn more about materials, procedures, healing, and long-term outcomes.
That is why continuing education is such an important part of what we do. It gives our doctors opportunities to learn from other professionals, strengthen existing skills, explore new techniques, and bring that knowledge back to the practice. For us, staying current is not about chasing every new trend. It is about continuing to grow so we can make thoughtful decisions about the care we provide you.
Dental Implants
Dental implants have become an important option for replacing missing teeth because they replace not only the visible portion of a tooth but also the underlying tissues. An implant is placed in the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for the replacement tooth, which can help restore comfortable function as well as the appearance of your smile.
There is also quite a bit that goes into implant dentistry behind the scenes. Careful evaluation, planning, placement, restoration, technology, and follow-up all play a role. That makes dental implants a perfect example of an area where continuing education matters. Dr. Parker’s recent training is another opportunity for him to deepen his understanding of implant dentistry and continue developing the skills that support careful, well-planned treatment.
Always Learning, Always Growing
We know you probably don’t spend much time wondering what Dr. Parker is doing when he isn’t in the office. Hopefully, he is having a little fun, but sometimes he is back in the classroom. We think that is worth sharing because continuing education is ultimately about you and providing the best care we can. We want our entire team to keep learning, asking questions, and staying informed about advances that can help us provide comfortable, modern dental care.
We’re Excited for Dr. Parker
We’re proud of Dr. Parker for continuing to invest his time and energy in learning more about dental implants, and we are excited to see him bring that knowledge back to the practice. If you have questions about dental implants for yourself or someone you love, we are always happy to talk. We can take a look, discuss the possibilities, and help you understand whether implants may be worth considering.
If it is time for your next appointment, schedule with us at our offices located in Burton or Fenton, MI. We look forward to seeing you, catching up, and continuing to learn and grow right alongside the patients we are so fortunate to care for.
