Do You Have Healthy Gums?

Have you been seeing a bit of blood in the sink when you brush your teeth? That bleeding can be one of the first warning signs of gum disease. When people think of keeping their teeth healthy, they sometimes neglect to consider the importance of gum health. The mild variety of deteriorating gum health is called gingivitis, which infects only your gums. If it is not treated, the infection can travel below the gumline and into your bone. Then, it becomes a more serious form of gum disease called periodontitis. In fact, both gingivitis and periodontitis can cause damage not just to your teeth and oral health, but also to your overall health by increasing your chances of major health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis.

This was my first appointment in a very long time, and I was pretty scared and really hoped this would go well because major work needs to be done. Everyone there was so nice and thoroughly explained my options in a very patient manner. I would highly recommend Today's Dental Comfort.

I have been coming to Today’s Dental Comfort for years. I could not see myself going anywhere else! When you walk-in or call, you are greeted by the friendliest, nicest, and professional staff—Melissa, Jillian, or Connie. I have always been made to feel comfortable with my services whether it’s been cleaning, filling or x-rays. I have never had an unpleasant or unsatisfactory experience at Today’s Dental Comfort. Everything from services, to my coverage and billing was explained to me. I’ve had thorough cleanings. I’ve had satisfactory experiences when I’ve had to be numbed for procedures. I love the fact that they use a lot of up-to-date technologies in the dental field when serving their patients. My hygienist and I have established a relationship and enjoy catching up with one another (as much as possible—it is a dental visit!). She has an impeccable memory. She remembers things from my last visit from 6 months before. I’m always glancing around looking at family photos throughout the office. I love the personal touches throughout the office. It makes it warm and inviting. And, my dentist, Dr. Bundy, is the best. They have done right by me!!!!!! They are indeed Today’s Dental Comfort. Literally. If you’re looking for a dentist, I recommend them!
